CONVERT FUTURE PAYMENTS INTO

 LUMP SUM CASH

What is a structured settlement ?

A structured settlement could be the result of a person winning a personal injury or product liability insurance claim or one of many other settlements that award payments to the settlement holder at one or several future times.

The money (award) that a person "wins" through the court proceeding is paid through a series of payments, lasting a number of years, rather than in a lump sum.

It is usually secured by the purchase of buys an annuity through an insurance company, which then generates the payments from that "investment".

Typically, it generates more than enough for the payments. The insurance company keeps the excess dividends as tax free income. Since the person receiving the payments does not own the annuity, they generally ave no control over the schedule of the payments or the excess funds generated by the annuity.

The disadvantages of periodic payment schedules

Often times the person in question who received the settlement instrument has immediate financial needs, such as large medical expenses. Or, they have a great investment opportunity, or simply need cash to start a new business. They need a lump sum of cash now, but their award money is tied up in the Structured Settlement payment schedule.

You CAN exchange MOST payments for a lump sum payout of cash.

People are often mistakenly told that they can not sell their payment stream for a lump sum of cash. The fact it this is done often, and it could be the process that could save your financial future,

Sometimes the person in question believes what they are told because they do not own the annuity generating the payments, or there are various states that have laws that govern how such an exchange can be performed, or, they think they'll face tax penalties.

The truth is that many times you actually can "sell your payments" (really, have the "payee" of the instrument reassigned) for a lump sum of cash, and not face tax penalties. We provide the service of doping the preliminary investigative work, and forwarding that information to one of the many private investment companies we deal with to handle the process expertly.
